About the facility Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelongs CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac. Barwon Health''s Food Services department prepares, distributes, and serves up to 2,500 meals daily across University Hospital Geelong and the Grace McKellar Centre, ensuring high-quality, safe, and customer-focused nutrition for patients, visitors, and staff. About the role As a member of Barwon Health''s Food Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meal services to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring adherence to dietary requirements and maintaining a clean, efficient work environment. Your role will include but not limited to: Deliver meals across wards during dinner and supper service. Ensure food preferences, intolerances, allergies, and diet codes are strictly followed. Clean kitchenettes and maintain hygiene standards. Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting. Comply with Barwon Healths Food Safety Plan, completing necessary documentation. Work evening shifts, typically from 4:30-8:30 pm, with occasional 3:00 pm starts.
