We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Collections Officer to join one of Australias leading personal loan providers. What youll do Manage and resolve escalated and complex collections cases with professionalism and empathy. Lead case management of long-dated and high-risk collections matters. Oversee and review daily arrears reporting and trend analysis, providing actionable insights to Credit & Operations teams. Engage with customers and related parties through inbound and outbound calls to negotiate tailored repayment solutions. Prepare reporting and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders, including legal escalation where required. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the collections process. What youll bring Proven experience in collections, credit or financial services, ideally in a senior or complex casehandling role. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a customerfirst mindset. High emotional intelligence with an exemplary phone manner. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail. A sound understanding of collections legislation and litigation processes.
