Library Technician (Relief) Genesis Christian College is an authentic Christian school that provides high quality education. Our modern, well-equipped campus is located on the north side of Brisbane with an enrolment of over 1600 students from Prep to Year 12. We are seeking a suitably qualified, passionate and engaging Library Technician to join our team as Relief cover on a casual basis. This position will be responsible for supporting the effective operation of our busy school library including organising our library materials and information in order to enhance teaching, learning and student engagement. As a Library Technician you will be contributing to an exceptional learning environment that promotes the strong aims of an independent Christian school. This position is Casual. To be successful, you will have: A Cert III or Diploma in Library Serivces Previous experience working in a school library Good knowledge of Childrenand Young Adultliterature Demonstrated knowledge of Library software management systemsProficiency in database management and use of digital technologies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Current Blue Card An active Christian faith and strong Christian character In addition, you will have excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail and be a team player.
