Depending on your strengths and interests, your role may include: First and second fix commercial carpentry Door frames, doors and hardware Skirting, architraves and linings Cladding and linings Joinery and solid timber work A standard day: You arrive on site knowing where youll be working, who youre working with, and what needs to get done. The site is set up properly, the leading hand has a plan, and the drawings make sense. The pace is steady, not frantic. You get into the work youre good at, whether thats first fix, second fix, or detail work where doing it right the first time is the norm. Questions get answered, problems get talked through, and if someone needs a hand, someone steps in. We''re looking for Someone Who Is a tradequalified carpenter (Cert III or higher) Holds a Construction Induction White Card Has a licence and reliable transport Is skilled at reading and interpreting plans and drawings Thinks ahead, solves problems as they come up, and doesnt wait to be told every next step Communicates clearly on site and gets along with a wide range of people Takes pride in turning out work youre happy to put your name to Shows up on time, follows through, and can be relied on by the rest of the crew Understands Workplace Health & Safety on commercial sites and takes that responsibility seriously Is comfortable working independently when needed, and just as comfortable backing up the team Is experienced in commercial construction (advantageous but not essential) In short, if youre a qualified carpenter who knows your way around commercial sites, can read drawings without squinting, backs your teammates and can hold your own whether youre working solo or as part of the crew, we want to hear from you!
