About the Role Kent is offering an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Supervisor to direct and supervise the Electrical commissioning technicians in assigned plant areas, ensuring full alignment and coordination with other discipline activities in the area. The supervisor will communicate scope status with the Senior Commissioning Lead and be responsible for the overall performance and safety of the commissioning team. Supervise and manage workforce of the Project to meet the goals and objectives set out by Kent. Conduct detailed prestart meetings with work crew. Assigns daily work duties to technicians and reports on completion of tasks. Proficient in working in both Brownfield and Greenfield areas. Responsible for updating commissioning reports. Instructs, supervises and provides first line technical direction to technician teams, vendors and specialist subcontractors/third party personnel in the area to deliver to PreCommissioning & Dynamic Commissioning targets. Accountable for maintaining and completion of test packs such as Electrical work packs as per commissioning schedule priorities. Ensure the latest revised drawings, datasheets, procedures and calibrated testing equipment are readily available. Work a detailed work plan including materials, tools plant and equipment. Will access the Systems Completion Database to generate work scope, create reports, check sheet rundown and manage punch items. Collate field copies of test documentation, records, red lines and related Commissioning documentation. Oversee technicians in the execution of commissioning (Pre & Dynamic) Procedures. Reporting to Electrical on discipline commissioning resource needs, tools, test equipment, forecasting, plant, spares etc. Ensure required competencies and work standards are maintained in the team and any deficiencies are addressed. Area interface & Simops meeting attendance and reporting. Ensuring that equipment and systems are fully commissioned at Handover, and ready to operate in compliance with procedures. Interface with Company Safety Advisor to ensure a safe and environmentally sound job area. Assurance of required permitting, isolations, zero energy states and full compliance with precommissioning and commissioning and Area Safe Working practice methods and processes including JSAs / SWMS''s / Toolbox talks, stepback''s etc. Maintain standards of HSE and comply with Companys Health, Safety & Environment Management System requirements. Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements. Perform other duties within the organisation that may be necessary to suit operational requirements.
