Responsibilities Provide structural technical direction to the business, from project concept through to detailed engineering and commissioning Provide mentoring and coaching to the structural team supporting the developing our people Ensure Safety in Design principles are applied in all aspects of structural engineering Lead internal technical reviews and conduct independent reviews of structural design completed by others Manage resources, budgets, schedules and quality of outputs Ability to provide succinct updates/reporting and timely escalation of issues Proven experience in identifying new work opportunities and preparing proposals and scopes of work for competitive tender processes Site based inspections, construction and commissioning projects involving occasional site-based work Heres what youll need Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineer CPEng / RPEQ Qualification 15+ years engineering design and project experience in the mining, resources or industrial sectors Solid understanding of Australian standards and construction safety principles Proven ability to lead a team and manage deadlines over multiple projects Proactive handson approach to solving engineering challenges Confident ability to communicate technical detail and project requirements effectively with clients and key stakeholders Why Join Us?
