About the role This is an opportunity for a selfmotivated and experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to join Ilukas inhouse legal team. The position is based in our Perth office, and is a permanent fulltime role. Flexible working or parttime arrangements will also be considered. The key responsibilities of this role include: Providing strategic and commercial legal advice to support the continuity of our business and the development of our growth projects. Supporting Ilukas major project delivery teams, including by drafting, negotiating and advising on key procurement, construction and operational contracts, and identifying and implementing strategies to resolve associated claims and disputes. Supporting Ilukas business development teams, including in relation to joint venture arrangements, feedstock supply agreements, acquisitions and divestments, and associated due diligence processes. Supporting our sales and marketing teams in relation to drafting and negotiating critical mineral sales agreements across various international jurisdictions, and advising on a range of international trade and commercial matters. Facilitating and delivering training to our workforce on key legal and regulatory obligations and developments affecting our business. Liaising directly with the companys senior leaders in the provision of strategic legal support. Instructing and managing external lawyers. About you To be successful in this role, you will offer: A law degree and an Australian legal practising certificate please state the month/year and jurisdiction of admission in your application cover letter. Proven experience at a law firm or equivalent inhouse experience, ideally with demonstrated post admission experience in one or more of the following areas: sales and marketing, corporate and commercial, mining and construction projects, dispute resolution. Experience in international commodity sales and offtake agreements and construction/mining related claims management will also be considered favourably. The ability to build strong and effective positive working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. Effective communication skills, and demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills, in order to confidently lead interactions with senior internal and external stakeholders and counterparties. A strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement and the bigger picture, to meet the needs of an evolving business.
