A top-tier law firm has partnered with Elevate and seeks an experienced lawyer for an onward secondment with a leading mining group on a 12-month contract to provide expert advice on frontend projects and procurement. This role will commence in May and is open to candidates across Australia, with a preference for Brisbanebased applicants and flexibility for hybrid working. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate procurement, project, construction, and services contracts. Support tenders, supplier engagement, and commercial evaluation processes. Advise on contractual risk, project delivery models, and commercial frameworks. Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to procurement, project, and operational stakeholders. Enhance governance, compliance, and legal process improvements across project portfolios. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support project execution and contract management. About You A minimum of 5+ years of postadmission experience, with strong expertise in frontend projects and procurement. Strong frontend construction/projects/procurement experience in a toptier, midtier, or inhouse legal environment. Deep expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and commercial advisory work. Demonstrated ability to provide pragmatic, commercial, solutionsfocused advice. Ability to provide clear, commercially pragmatic advice to nonlegal stakeholders.
