DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a highly motivated and detailoriented Assistant Accountant Intern to join our clients dynamic team for a 3month internship. This role offers a valuable opportunity for recent graduates or current students pursuing a degree in Accounting to gain handson experience in the hospitality industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in preparing financial statements and reports Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions Support monthend and yearend closing processes Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Contribute to adhoc tasks and projects as needed Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills DURATION: This is a 3month internship with the possibility of extension based on performance and company needs.
