The Occupational Therapy Operations Lead will have responsibilities across all Alfred Health sites. Position Overview We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist to join the Alfred Health Occupational Therapy team as Grade3 stream leader in Neurological and Burns rehabilitation on ward AC2. Key Responsibilities Provision of evidencebased occupational therapy assessment and intervention across a variety of neurological conditions (including Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury and Multiple Sclerosis) and Burns rehabilitation. Liaison with NDIS service providers and completion of NDIS related documentation. Team Leadership and Coordination. Close multidisciplinary team collaboration and communication including attendance at journey boards, case conferences and longstay meetings. Previous experience in communicating with a wide range of key stakeholders will be highly regarded. Supervision of staff (Grade1, 2 and Allied Health assistants) and supervision of students. Leadership of quality improvement projects specific to Occupational Therapy service delivery and initiatives relevant to ward AC2. All Alfred Health staff may be required to work across all Alfred Health sites (The Alfred, Caulfield Hospital and Sandringham Hospital) including weekends and public holidays, based on clinical service demands. Qualifications Required Occupational Therapy Qualification. Current full registration held with Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) or equivalent. Member of OT Australia (or eligibility for membership) or equivalent. Skills & Experience Minimum seven years clinical experience in Occupational Therapy. Welldeveloped team leadership skills, including the ability to undertake professional supervision and promote professional competence of other staff. Demonstrated capacity to inspire, influence, mentor and motivate staff and students, contributing to a positive organisational culture. Drivers licence and comfort with driving the majority of the workday is essential to this role. Experience liaising with a wide range of key stakeholders.
