Where you''ll be working Drug and Alcohol Assertive Case Management Program Royal North Shore Hospital What You''ll Be Doing The Drug and Alcohol Team Leader ensures consistent high level care that is innovative and evidence based for clients that have drug and/or alcohol issues. The Team Leader provides clinical leadership and support, demonstrating knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the issues that affect individuals with drug and/or alcohol issues. The Team Leader also has a clinical responsibility to provide direct frontline services to drug and alcohol patients who experience a range of drug and alcohol issues and associated comorbidities. This service is an outreach model that aligns with both the ACM model of care and the outreach component of the IDAT Model of Care. The promotion of a culture of clinical practice improvement is the responsibility of the Team Leader who will initiate and develop Quality Improvement projects within the drug and alcohol team and ensure the processes of care are clearly understood. Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience as per clinical discipline. Full AHPRA registration or a Social Worker eligible for membership of AASW. Allied Health Professionals will need minimum experience as a Level 2. Registered NurseDivision 1 with AHPRA and demonstrated commitment to professional development. Clinical Psychologist must hold a Masters degree or higher. Senior Psychologist with a fouryear degree in psychology, registered as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a minimum of one year at the 9th year of service on the Psychology salary scale. Oversee and manage the clinical activities of the team including assessment, review, treatment, care planning and discharge and allocation of duties. Demonstrated clinical leadership and commitment to facilitate and maintain a safe and effective working environment for both staff and clients, consistent with the requirements of national/area/local policies and procedures, and relevant legislation.
