Informatech is seeking highly capable Defence Capability & Logistics Documentation Specialists to support a Commonwealth Defence program focused on deployed ICT capability sustainment and logistics governance.Working within a secure Defence environment, this role will support documentation, sustainment planning and logistics governance activities aligned to deployed ICT capabilities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Defence System Managers and technical SMEs to ensure operational documentation, sustainment artefacts and logistics plans meet Defence governance and assurance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain documentation and process artefacts supporting deployed ICT delivery assurance and governance complianceProduce operational and technical documentation aligned with Defence standards and templatesPrepare moderation and editing packs ensuring accuracy, readability and compliance with Defence documentation standardsAssist Defence System Managers to define functional specifications and baseline capability definitions for in-service productsPrepare Defence briefs, minutes and formal correspondence supporting governance and decision-makingMaintain sustainment master records lists and support sound records management practicesDevelop logistics artefacts including Transition Plans and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) PlansConduct Logistics Support Analysis and contribute to sustainment planning activitiesSupport product management and transition of capability into serviceDesired ExperienceExperience supporting Defence ICT or capability sustainment environmentsStrong documentation and technical writing capability aligned to Defence standardsUnderstanding of Defence logistics governance and sustainment frameworksExperience with Logistics Information SystemsKnowledge of codification and cataloguing processes (COMSARM desirable)Exposure to Engineering Officer (EO) environments considered advantageousWhy InformatechInformatech is a Canberra-headquartered national ICT services firm supporting Federal Government and Defence clients, recognised in the AFR Fast 100 and ADM Top 40 Defence SMEs.
