The Position I am seeking a MRCGP (UK), MICGP or FRNZGP qualified GP who would like to make a move to Bridport in Tasmania, and join a small seaside practice which is supported by a larger sister practice twentyminute drive away. The practice is currently open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, but we are seeking an applicant who will cover 45 days a week. The Location & Clinic Situated on the north coast of Tasmania, the small seaside town of Bridport is very popular amongst holiday makers, and is well known for its breathtaking ocean views, pristine beaches, fishing, hiking and bushwalking opportunities. Bridport is also home to Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm Golf Courses, both ranked in the worlds top 25 by Golf Digest magazine, with the Dunes course ahead of the iconic Pebble Beach course in California and Kingston Heath in Melbourne. Bridport is also a great spot for river or sea fishing, and the surrounding area offers many worldclass attractions including Blue Derby, Tasmanias worldrenowned mountain biking park. The practice is now bulk billing and provides a range of medical services to the small coastal town and wider regional community, including minor procedures, vaccinations, mental health and chronic disease management, antenatal care, family planning, emergency care, skin checks and travel medicine.
