Crescent Energy is seeking an experienced and handson Production Superintendent Delaware Basin to lead daytoday field operations across our operated assets in the Delaware Basin. This role is responsible for safe, reliable, and costeffective production from a large multiwell position in the Delaware Basin. The Superintendent will lead a team of field professionals and contractors, champion operational excellence, and work closely with Production Engineering, Facilities, Development, Midstream, and HSE teams to maximize asset value while maintaining safe and responsible operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced, fieldbased environment and leverages data, technology, and strong field leadership to drive production performance, reduce downtime, and enhance operational reliability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Oversee daily production operations across Crescents Delaware Basin assets, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient well and facility performance. Support artificial lift optimization efforts (gas lift, rod pump, plunger, ESP, free flow), partnering with Production Engineering to maximize uptime and recovery. Identify, prioritize, and execute production deferment reduction strategies using SCADA, realtime data analytics, and field surveillance tools. Provide direct leadership and development for Production Foremen, Technicians, and field contractors, fostering a strong culture of safety, accountability, and ownership. Conduct regular field visits to monitor performance, reinforce expectations, and proactively address operational risks and constraints. Collaborate crossfunctionally with Drilling, Completions and Facilities teams to ensure smooth well turninline and longterm reliability of new wells. Interface with industry and internal Midstream partners to coordinate planned outages, manage takeaway constraints, and minimize downtime impacts. Ensure effective well surveillance, route management, and automation utilization to improve efficiency and responsiveness. Champion Control of Work, Management of Change (MOC), and contractor safety processes to maintain safe field execution. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for production upsets or wellsite failures. Own and manage Lease Operating Expense (LOE) budgets for the area, identifying cost optimization opportunities while protecting production and safety performance. Support AFE development, operational forecasting, and performance tracking against key production and financial KPIs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, standardization, automation, and operational excellence. Engage with regulatory agencies, landowners, and community stakeholders as needed to maintain compliance and strong external relationships. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Experience & Education Minimum of 1015 years of progressive oil and gas production operations experience, preferably within unconventional shale plays. Prior supervisory or superintendentlevel leadership experience managing field teams and contractors. Strong working knowledge of artificial lift systems, flow assurance, well performance optimization, and surface production facilities. Proficiency in SCADA systems, realtime monitoring tools, and datadriven production management. Experience with Control of Work, Process Safety Management (PSM), and Management of Change processes. Demonstrated financial acumen, including LOE management, budgeting, and cost optimization. Proven ability to lead in a dynamic, fieldoriented environment while maintaining high safety and operational standards. Strong problemsolving, communication, and crossfunctional collaboration skills.
