Join the team at Bottle Tree Feedlot as a Leading Hand and play a key role in guiding livestock operations and supporting daily feedlot performance. We produce a full range of grain and grassfed beef categories and export to more than 40 countries worldwide. Your Role As a Leading Hand, you will oversee the daytoday management and welfare of cattle across the feedlot while providing guidance and support to livestock teams. This handson, outdoor role combines operational leadership with practical stock handling, ensuring safe, efficient, and productive feedlot operations. You will be working a 10/4 rotating roster, giving you a structured schedule while supporting the team and feedlot performance. What Youll Be Doing Leading and mentoring a team of livestock hands to maintain high performance and safety standards Monitoring cattle health and welfare across feedlot pens Assisting with drafting, processing, and cattle movements Supporting animal health programs under the direction of management Maintaining clean, safe yards and facilities Operating plant and equipment as required (training provided) Who Were Looking For Experience in feedlot operations or livestock management Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Handson, practical approach with a genuine interest in cattle and agriculture Ability to lead, mentor, and work collaboratively with a team Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong communication skills and attention to detail Reliable, hardworking, and eager to take on responsibility Why Join Us?
