About the role Bestbar is seeking reliable and hardworking people to become valued team members within our brand new, stateoftheart production facility located in Salisbury. Exciting opportunities exist within our manufacturing team due to continued growth across the business. Positions are available on both Day shift (5:30am 1:36pm) and Afternoon Shift (2:00pm 10:06pm) for skilled operators or individuals who wish to learn all there is about machine operation in the steel reinforcement industry. Responsibilities Safe operation of machinery (full training provided) Manual handling, as required (lifting aids available) Effectively communicate with other team members Adherence to all safety policies & procedures Qualifications Experience with machine operating highly desirable, however not essential Prior exposure to operating overhead cranes strongly encouraged Hold a valid forklift licence (advantageous, not essential) Confident with manual handling Exceptional attitude towards work and taking directions Candidates must possess legal Australian work rights Successful candidates must be willing and able to undertake a full preemployment medical Benefits Work with an outstanding group of individuals who have a strong emphasis on teamwork.
