OverviewJob Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob Description At Roadline Contracting Pty Ltd, we are looking for a skilled Motor Mechanic to work on a full-time basis (38-40 hours per week).Duties and Responsibilities:Perform regular inspection and servicing of petrol and light vehicle engines, including transmissions, suspension, steering and brake systems.Identify, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults affecting vehicles and light plant machinery.Dismantle, assess and overhaul engine assemblies, gearboxes, steering and other mechanical components.Replace, repair and refurbish worn or failed parts, ensuring components meet specifications and quality standards.Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., oil and filter changes, lubrication, tune-ups) to keep the fleet running efficiently.Reinstall repaired parts and systems, and carry out performance checks to confirm proper function.Use diagnostic tools and computer-assisted equipment to test mechanical functions and guide fault resolution.Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used and safety checks completed on vehicles.Ensure all service, repair and testing work complies with Roadlines safety policies and certification requirements (e.g., OH&S standards).Support breakdown response for light vehicles and company plant when required.QualificationsRelevant qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.At least 1 year of experience.Good time management skills and able to work under pressure.Location: 13 McDaniel Road, Broome WA 6725Salary: $75,000 - $120,000 per yearPlease send us your resume if you believe you have the right skills for the position.Be careful - Dont provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
