OverviewAdditional Shifts Maybe Required Outside of the Monday to Thursday RosterQualificationsThe successful applicant will have:Valid Driving LicensePipefitting experience requiredAble to pass weld test. Weld Qualification Required MMAW/FCAW test in 6G position on carbon steel pipeSouth 32 Worsley Refinery Experience (advantageous but not essential)Working at Heights (within 2 years)Confined Space (within 2 years)Construction Induction Card (White or Blue card)Rigging and Forklift tickets would be beneficialAbility to pass a pre-employment and site medical testing Key Responsibilities include:Weld components and piping in accordance with approved welding procedure.Using specialised welding processes (FCAW, GTAW/TIG, MIG/MMAW) and fit-up techniquesPerform welds in multiple positions (e.g., 6G) and document weld records.Prepare materials and joint fit-up prior to welding (grinding, cleaning, pre-heating).Carry out structural and pressure-rated welding tasks on piping, tanks, vessels, and support structures.Assist with both planned preventative maintenance and corrective welding tasks during normal operations or shutdown periodsSupport turnaround or shutdown activities by performing high-quality, code-compliant welding under schedule pressure.Maintain documentation and records of welding activities for audits and compliance What we offer:Superannuation paid on ALL hours workedCompetitive RatesUpskilling in house About Us:JWS Industries delivers fabrication, Structural Mechanical Piping (SMP) projects, shutdown execution and maintenance services to Western Australias mining, resources and infrastructure sectors.Backed by more than 15 years of industry experience and ISO-certified management systems, we are committed to delivering safe, high-quality solutions that drive reliable project outcomes and build trusted, long-term partnerships with our clients. #J-18808-Ljbffr
