The retail showroom operates as an integrated division of our production and logistics facility.We are seeking a highly experienced Retail Manager with demonstrated experience managing retail operations within a structured manufacturing and distribution environment. This position requires technical, operational and logistics capability beyond standard retail store management.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and control daily retail showroom operations within a manufacturing facilityLead, supervise and performance-manage retail sales staffDevelop and implement revenue strategies and margin controlsOversee complex stock control across raw materials, finished goods and custom orders; coordinate directly with CNC cutting, production scheduling and warehouse dispatch teamsManage freight coordination including metro, regional and interstate deliveriesOversee WHS compliance in a production-integrated retail settingAnalyse sales data, prepare budgets and operational forecastsNegotiate with suppliers and freight providersEssential CriteriaAll Criteria Must Be Met:Minimum 3-5 years full-time experience as a Retail Manager in a manufacturing, wholesale or production-integrated environmentProven experience supervising and performance managing a minimum of 3 staffDemonstrated experience managing inventory linked to custom manufacturing workflowsExperience coordinating retail sales with production scheduling and warehouse dispatchStrong understanding of gross margin management in materials-based businessesOperational knowledge of DevFoam and DevCad software used in CNC foam cutting environmentsDemonstrated experience using logistics operating systems and freight booking platforms in AustraliaWorking knowledge of Australian freight providers'' metro, regional and interstate capabilitiesExperience managing bulky goods, custom-cut or made-to-order productsStrong reporting, budgeting and KPI management capabilityHighly RegardedDiploma or Degree in Business, Retail Management or Supply ChainExperience in building materials, construction products, foam or insulation industriesExperience operating POS integrated with inventory and warehouse systemsSalary: $75,000 $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.Only applicants who meet all essential criteria will be considered.Be careful - Dont provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
