Our Sushi Bar is a busy, fast paced venue, serving tourists and locals alike. This position focuses on supporting the team by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.ResponsibilitiesPrep basic ingredients and prepare sushi for takeaway.Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment; ensure workstations meet high hygiene and safety standards.Support Front Of House duties as required to help meal service during busy periods.Assist back-of-house operations to run smoothly during busy shifts.Skills & ExperiencePrevious Experience: Prior experience in a fast-paced hospitality or retail environment is preferred, though we are willing to train the right candidate with a "can-do" attitude.Food Prep Proficiency: Basic knife skills and the ability to follow simple recipes or assembly guides (e.g., preparing sushi rice, vegetables, and garnishes) with high attention to detail.Efficiency & Pace: Ability to work quickly and stay organized during busy service periods, ensuring all prep stations remain stocked and clean.Hygiene & Safety: A solid understanding of food safety standards and the ability to maintain a spotless workspace, including dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning.Reliability: Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset, with the physical stamina to stay active throughout a shift.SalarySalary Range: $69,000 p/a + Superannuation #J-18808-Ljbffr
