Itero is Australias leading expert in projects complicated by height and specialists in complex asset remediation and maintenance solutions operating across multiple sectors. The ideal candidate must be reliable, results-driven, self-motivated, and committed to positively contribute to the team environment.ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints/instructions, examine, and understand surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessaryMake work preparation such as scaffolding, covering fixturesResponsible for mixing, matching, applying paint to various surfaces, and completing touch-upsBe able to understand and complete works to specificationsBe able to mix correct ratio two-part paint coatings etcProper appropriation of consumables and materials to avoid wastageSelect paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollersUnderstand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thicknessAble to carry out minor repairs as and when deemed necessaryUse different tools and brushes to apply paints with attention to detailsBe able to work at heights and in confined spacesErecting scaffolding and laddersCleaning equipment and work areasSupport other team members to ensure completion of projects are on-time and in accordance to specification.QualificationsTrade Certificate Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent (for Blaster/Painters)High Risk Licence for EWP and/or ForkliftTrade Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs)HR licence, high risk licence with EWP and ForkliftDrivers Licence (MR or HR class)Ability to work well both independently and in a team environmentAbility to meet strict deadlinesStrong communication skillsKeen attention to detailSelf-motivated, organised, punctual and reliableMust have great work ethicsSalarySalary: Between $75,000 and $80,000 per annum + SuperHow to applyIf you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this position, please apply now! #J-18808-Ljbffr
