With offices strategically located in Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East, we are well-positioned to take on projects for clients around the world.About the RoleContract Resources(CR) is ramping up for another huge year, with multiple major shutdowns and projects scheduled across Western Australia throughout 2026. To support this growth, we are seeking experienced, safety-focused Vacuum Truck Operators to join our high-performing Industrial Services teams across a range of clients and sites.Vacuum Truck Operators play a key role in industrial shutdowns by operating vacuum trucks to support industrial cleaning, vacuum loading, waste management, and confined space works. This is a hands-on role suited to operators who are experienced in shutdown environments, comfortable working in high-risk areas, and committed to delivering safe, efficient outcomes while working closely with supervisors and project teams.Experience across broader Industrial Services and High Pressure Water Blasting operations is highly regarded.Duties will include but are not limited to:Operating and driving vacuum trucks across shutdown and project sitesPerforming industrial cleaning activities including vacuum loading, waste management, and material removalAssisting with tank cleaning, confined space works, and shutdown maintenance activitiesSupporting High Pressure Water Blasting (HPW) operations where requiredCarrying out sentry and standby duties for confined space and high-risk activitiesManual handling and physical tasks in line with site requirementsWorking closely with supervisors, operators, and crew members to support daily operationsAssisting across multiple work fronts and stepping in where required to meet operational demandsStrictly adhering to Work Health & Safety procedures, including JSAs, SWMS, Take 5s, and other safety documentationDemonstrating strong communication skills and situational awareness in high-risk environmentsIdentifying hazards, reporting risks, and actively contributing to a strong safety cultureRequirements & Experience NeededPrevious experience operating vacuum trucks within the Industrial Services or Oil & Gas sectorCertificate in Vacuum Loading Operations (essential)Experience across Industrial Services and/or High Pressure Water Blasting (advantageous)Certificate to Operate High-Pressure Water Jetting System Operator or Assistant (Advantageous)Ability to work shutdown rosters including Day/Night shifts and weekendsConstruction Induction (White Card essential)Working at Heights certificate (within 2 years essential)Confined Space Entry certificate (within 2 years essential)Gas Test Atmosphere certificate (within 2 years essential)Breathing Apparatus certificate (desirable)Current Drivers Licence (HR/HC/MC highly desirable)Full Australian work rightsHow to applyIf you are seeking a challenging and rewarding role with a dynamic, growing organisation, please select the Apply Now button to submit your application.Employee BenefitsThis is an excellent opportunity to become a part of a company that values work-life balance, fosters a sociable and collaborative atmosphere, and provides opportunities for skill development and career advancement.
