Overview Enjoy quiet roads, steady hours and work that keeps the community clean. Were looking for a reliable HR Driver to join a council night operations crew in Osborne Park. This role is a mix of driving and hands-on work, operating street-cleaning equipment and helping keep local streets, footpaths and public areas clean while the city sleeps. Youll be part of a small crew operating modern cleaning vehicles and rotating duties across the shift roughly 50% driving and 50% operating equipment. Role HR Driver Night Shift Waste & Street Cleaning Location: Osborne Park Pay: $45 per hour + penalties Hours: Sunday Thursday | 9:00pm 5:00am Responsibilities Drive a HR automatic water truck and assist with litter removal using the rear hose Operate a range of street and footpath cleaning equipment Work with machinery including: Road sweepers Footpath sweepers Water truck High-pressure cleaning units Steam cleaning ute Front-end loader Share driving and equipment operation tasks with the crew as shifts rotate Qualifications HR Drivers Licence (required) White Card (required) National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Experience with waste collection, sweepers, or similar plant Safety-focused with good awareness around vehicles and team members Reliable and comfortable working night shifts Physically fit for manual tasks Able to work both independently and as part of a crew What Youll Get $45 per hour + penalties Sunday to Thursday night shifts (9pm5am) Ongoing council role with consistent hours Supportive crew and modern fleet Osborne Park depot local and easy to access Opportunity to learn and operate multiple machines This isnt a rushed job its about working safely, staying aware of your surroundings, and taking pride in keeping public areas clean.
