About the RoleAs a Bus Aide with us, you''ll work alongside a Bus Driver to ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of students with disabilities and special needs to and from school. This casual position operates during school terms, offering shifts Monday - Friday (AM & PM shifts available). What You''ll Do Safe Transportation: Drive routes efficiently while prioritizing student safety. Routine Adherence: Follow planned routes for morning and afternoon school runs. Student Support: Assist with student management and facilitate safe vehicle access for those with mobility restrictions. Communication: Engage respectfully with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. What We''re Looking For Flexibility: Adapt seamlessly to changing traffic and weather conditions. Strong Communicator: Demonstrate effective communication skills with a diverse range of people. Team Player: Collaborate well within a team and take initiative when needed. Availability: Ready to work split shifts during morning (6:00 am - 9:30 am) and afternoon (2:30 pm - 5:00 pm) hours. Qualifications Working with Children''s Check: Mandatory for roles involving interaction with children. First Aid Certificate: Willingness to obtain if not already held.
