By investing in sustainable, high-quality infrastructure, we help communities stay active, healthy, and connected.About the roleAs the Venue Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all hiring spaces and financial transactions from the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport building, King Street Arts Centre.This role requires thorough accuracy when updating the venue booking management system database, including client records and all fees and charges to ensure the smooth operations across the building.Located in the Perth CBD, the heritage-listed King Street Arts Centre building is a hub for local creative industries organisations and community dance groups, offering a range of dance studios and meeting spaces available for hire.This role is a fast-paced environment working with competing priorities often with minimal supervision and supporting both internal and external clients with exceptional customer service.The successful candidate will possess:Demonstrated experience in venue coordination and management operations, with a focus on high quality service delivery.Working knowledge with venue booking and accounting software, database systems along with proficiency in commonly used Microsoft office suite applications.Sound organisational, problem solving and prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet performance expectations and manage competing deadlines.Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and within a team environment.We have one fixed term, part time (60hrs p/f) position available until June 2027, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.For further job-related information, please contact Senior Policy Officer, James Piskacev on 9492 9652 (only contact for information about the role).Whats in it for you?The opportunity for career and leadership development in a collaborative environment that values diversity and recognises and respects contributions from all.
