OverviewFiresafe Resource and Industrial Bibra Lake WAFiresafe are seeking a current manager looking to take the next step in their career by taking on the role of Operations Manager, in our Resource and Industrial Department here in Perth. This role would suit someone who is looking to refine their leadership skills, ready to build on the existing structures and continue to foster a collaborative and motivated team.Reporting to the Head of the Resource and Industrial division, this position will be accountable for the overall profitability and success of our remote divisions. This will include ensuring budgets, timelines and contractual obligations are met, and holding the wider team accountable where required. With an overall goal to deliver a quality service and foster repeat business amongst new and existing clientele, this role would suit someone capable of forming quality relationships and problem solving efficiently where required, to ensure the needs of external and internal stakeholders are met.While no formal qualifications are required, this role would suit someone experienced with people management in a trade-based organisation. The company is a diverse and fast paced business, so someone with confidence, versatility and flexibility, coupled with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships would do well. Someone with Fire industry knowledge and experience will be highly regarded. With Uptick Software being our package of choice, previous experience in this will be preferred.With a strong focus on providing technical support and contributing to strategic planning, this role plays a key part in driving the ongoing success of the business. You will work closely with leadership and the wider team to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency and support sustainable growth across the organisation.As this role will require you to conduct regular client visits (travel to the Pilbara, Kimberley, Christmas & Cocos Island, and Goldfields), meet monthly reporting deadlines and assist direct reports with day-to-day queries and concerns as they arise, someone with strong time management skills and high attention to detail will flourish.
