We are currently recruiting a Trade Assistant with experience in daily pre starts and servicing to Forklifts and other various plant and equipment to join our team.About the roleIn this role, you will be required to work both autonomously and as part of workshop team. You will be responsible for day-to-day pre starts and service and maintenance of company vehicles, plant and equipment.Skills and experienceThe role will include but not be limited to the following;Conducting pre-start checks on forklifts and other various plantBasic mechanical duties dependent on ability and assisting TradesmenAssisting workshop staff as neededSorting and moving parts within the workshopMaintaining a clean and safe working area in the workshop and associated areasPerforming high-pressure cleaning of plant and equipment in the wash bayESSENTIAL RQUIREMENTS FOR THESE ROLES ARE.Full car licence MUST HAVEForklift licence MUST HAVEPrevious experience in a similar role is preferredBasic computer literacyWillingness to be part of a teamAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and AOD screening.Full Australian Working RightsWhats in it for you:Perth Metro based so you are home every night.Competitive Hourly Rate including overtime penalty ratesJob StabilitySecure, stable, and permanent employmentHow to applyThe position is available for immediate start.
