The role offers pathways to advanced qualifications in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Plant Inspection (AICIP/API), supported by the company. Future career progression may include site-based roles or transitioning into Project Coordination/Management.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare project deliverables, including:Technical work packs.Technical inspection reports.CAD drawings.Management of data.R&D.Support project coordination and execution.Promote a positive safety culture in all activities.Identify and communicate opportunities for best practices and continuous improvement.Ensure high standards of customer service and quality assurance.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Skills and ExperienceBachelor or Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related degree.Strong technical report writing skills.Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.Proficient in Autodesk suite (CAD).High attention to detail.Competency in Microsoft Office applications.Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.Understanding of risk-based inspection (RBI) programmes.Knowledge and experience in Inspection and Non- Destructive Testing (NDT).Understanding of shipping classification societies and rules.Awareness of AS4041 / AS1210 or international equivalents.Understand of IACS (Rec 47) and ships repairs.Why Vertech Group?Experience working in a supportive environment that prioritises your well-being and development.Work alongside a Leadership Group that fosters collaboration and ownership within the Company.Join a culture that values continuous improvement and encourages innovative contributions from all team members.Be part of a team that promotes flexible working arrangements.How to Apply?If you are ready to embark on a rewarding career with Vertech Group, wed love to hear from you!
