Operating across multiple sites, the team delivers stateoftheart treatments and coordinates inpatient, outpatient and communitybased services to support patients and families throughout their cancer journey.The Role:The Cancer Nurse Consultant Cancer Care delivers advanced, autonomous specialist cancer care, providing expert clinical leadership across acute and community settings. The role supports multidisciplinary teams, strengthens service partnerships, leads education and quality improvement, contributes to policy and research, and practices in line with ANMC standards. The CNCCC also collaborates with fellow CNCs and upholds a strong childsafe culture.You will need:Advanced clinical expertise in contemporary cancer care, coordination and independent clinical decisionmaking.Strong leadership and communication, with the ability to educate, influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.Proven capability in quality improvement, research, and developing policies, protocols and procedures in cancer care.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Why Tasmania:The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services.
