About the Role We are seeking Senior Mining Engineers to join our team supporting either the Telfer Mine or the emerging Havieron Project . This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to operational delivery by developing practical, financially sound mine plans that enable safe and efficient production. Roster: 8/6 Roster - FIFO from Perth Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and mentor junior engineers to develop technical capability and strengthen team performance. Deliver monthly, quarterly and Life-of-Mine (LOM) production forecasts and underground mining schedules. Assist long-term planning teams to develop and evaluate multiple mining strategies. Develop rolling monthly plans (RMP) that provide clear operational direction and support delivery of budget targets. Design and oversee multi-level mine area plans incorporating geotechnical considerations, development sequencing, stoping strategy, services infrastructure and ventilation. Translate long-term planning concepts into practical operational plans for mining and project teams to execute. Collaborate closely with geology teams to ensure mining areas are appropriately drilled, understood and prioritised for extraction. Identify opportunities for additional production or optimisation within existing mining areas. Supervise and support contractors, project teams and mining crews executing underground activities. Ensure mine designs and plans are delivered in a timely manner to enable review and operational implementation. About You You are an experienced underground mining professional with strong mine planning capability, operational understanding and leadership potential. You enjoy working across multidisciplinary teams and are motivated by the opportunity to improve mine performance and identify new mining opportunities. You will bring: Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline Minimum 5 years'' experience in underground mining Experience in mechanised hard-rock underground mining environments Strong capability across short-, medium- and long-term mine planning processes Experience with mine planning and design software (Deswik preferred) Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across technical and operational teams Current WA C-Class Driver''s Licence and Senior First Aid Certificate Highly regarded WA First Class Mine Manager''s Certificate of Competency Experience supporting underground mining projects or mine development Capability to step into production or superintendent roles when required About Telfer Operations Telfer is a long-life gold-copper mine in the Paterson Province of Western Australia''s East Pilbara region. The operation includes both open-pit and underground mining and Australia''s third-largest gold-copper processing facility. Since commencing production in 1975, Telfer has produced over 15 million ounces of gold.
