Overview ECG Engineering are leaders in the Electrical Engineering space, delivering design and project delivery services to the Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial sectors with extensive and proven capabilities in Australia, and around the world. With offices in Perth, Brisbane, Toronto, Vancouver, Manila, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania & Cape Town . ECG have the capability to design and deliver on complex projects, from early study work to commissioning and handover, drawing on the expertise of senior ECG personnel who have worked together for 30 + years. We require Electrical Supervisors / Superintendents to ensure efficient completion of works on a range of ongoing and upcoming minerals and metals projects in Australia, and around the world, including South Korea and Oman as well as Africa. We have swings from two to three months to long term. Responsibilities Manage daily work packs and provide supervision to all Electrical employees and contractors under your control. Carry out investigations into electrical incidents and report to the relevant client representatives as required. Ensure all electrical statutory testing and maintenance is carried out and recorded as required by your appointment. Accurate and timely reporting of all breakdowns to the relevant stakeholders Perform hands on electrical work as required. Essential Criteria (Mandatory) Electrical Trade Qualification Current WA Electrician''s Licence WA Electrical Contractor License (Nominee) Minimum 5 years trade experience Minimum 5 years supervisory experience Valid drivers license minimum class C, HR advantageous High Risk Card - WP, DG, LF, CV Construction Card (White Card) Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems Demonstrated experience in all aspects of Electrical work Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings, Schematics and Architectural drawings at a minimum Experience in computer based maintenance systems Strong commitment to health and safety Strong leadership skills and cultural understanding of remote work forces Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ideally, experience co-ordinating local work forces in Africa and / or the Middle East Desirable Criteria Previous Fixed Plant Experience Experience in construction of underground services Certificate 4 in Leadership and Management Working at Heights Training Are you the Electrical Supervisor / Superintendent we need, who''s prepared to commit to a project for its duration, and be rewarded by a successful project outcome?
