We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform residential carpentry duties such as building frameworks, installing sub-flooring, attaching exterior cladding, and finishing interior fixtures.Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboardMeasure and mark cutting lines on materials, using rulers, squares, or marking gaugesFollow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clientsInstall structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using carpenter''s hand and power toolsInspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixturesInspect and repair wood structures and fixtures for damage or wearSelect and order materials and supplies needed for projectsCollaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budgetEnsure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company standardsMaintain a clean and organized work areaQualificationsProven experience as a CarpenterExcellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods, as well as safety practicesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and building plansProficient in using hand and power toolsPhysical stamina and strength to perform manual labour for extended periods of timeAttention to detail and ability to follow instructionsGood time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsValid driver''s license and reliable transportationEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentCompletion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in carpentryMinimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry or above, preferably in residential constructionAdditional certifications or licenses in carpentry or related fields are a plusSalary and BenefitsSalary range of $73150 - $80000 per year, depending on experience and qualificationsOpportunities for overtime and bonusesTraining and development opportunitiesIf you are a skilled Carpenter looking for a challenging and rewarding career with a reputable company, we encourage you to apply for this position.
