For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.Job TitleRepair TechnicianReporting ToHead of OperationsWork ScheduleOnsite Melbourne, AUSummary Of JobThe repair technician is responsible for performing test, fault finding and repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipment and devices at component/subassembly level.Key AccountabilitiesPerform various repair activity, diagnose test failures and perform necessary rework in order for units to pass specification requirementsSchedule, complete and document routine maintenance on applicable manufacturing and test equipmentRead schematics, assembly drawings, data sheets, and process sheets to perform testing, build fixtures, checkout and troubleshoot equipmentAssist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of nonconforming manufactured product to determine root causePerform tests, gather data, and write results/reports with assistance from Manufacturing Engineering, utilizing various types of electromechanical equipment.QualificationsMinimum Advanced Diploma of Electronics and Communications Engineering (or equivalent)IPC610/620/7711/21 Certified (desired)Work Experience5+ years'' relevant experience (required)Experience in Defence Manufacturing environment, ESD controlled environment, AS9100 certified environment, ERP systems (QAD) (advantageous)SuitabilityGood understanding of quality control & process engineering principlesHigh attention to detail and quality focusSolid computer literacy and data entry skills - proficient with current Microsoft OfficeIntermediate Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong verbal and written communication abilityHigh ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure & organize timeEligibilityMust be an Australian Citizen and can obtain and maintain an Australian security clearanceMust satisfy police checks and employment screening verification including employment reference checksMust be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulation (ITAR) which in some circumstances can place limitations on persons who hold dual nationality, permanent residency or are former nationals of certain countries as per ITAR 126.1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
