Job Description

Johnson Service Company, a division of Midlands Contracting, Inc., is seeking a Foreman to join our growing construction team. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, dependability, and a willingness to travel.Job DetailsSalary: $85,000 $150,000 (based on experience)Hours: 50+ hours per week (no weekends)Travel: Most projects require being out of town MondayFriday (home on weekends)Hotel accommodations provided by the companyNightly per diem for meals while working out of townCompany-provided pickup truck and cell phoneYear-round employmentno winter layoffsClass A or B CDL required (or the ability and desire to obtain one).Previous supervisory or management experience required.Ability to lead and manage a two-person crew effectively.Capable of managing projects, including communication with city employees and engineers while maintaining professionalism.Experience in pipeline cleaning and televising is preferred but not requiredtraining will be provided.Ability to troubleshoot and manage difficult situations encountered during cleaning and televising operations.Ability to operate a pipeline observation computer system for televising (training provided).Must be mechanically inclined.Experience with the operation, maintenance, and minor repairs of combo trucks used for jetting and vacuuming pipelines.Responsible for tracking and entering daily manhours and production quantities.Responsible for documenting performance feedback or issues clearly and professionally.Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently and assist with heavier loads as needed.Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods.Must abide by all company safety rules (safety training provided).Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Paid time offPaid holidaysBonus programPaid training opportunitiesHealth Insurance: Company pays 50% of premiums for employees and family membersLife Insurance: Company pays 50% of premiums for employees and family members401(k) with company match (immediate vesting)Dental and Vision insuranceCafeteria/Flexible Benefits PlanAflac supplemental insurance optionsNotice to ApplicantThis position is subject to an MVR and criminal history report. #J-18808-Ljbffr
