This role would suit someone who enjoys building genuine connections with older children and helping keep afternoons calm, organised and enjoyable.Days & HoursMonday: 3:00 pm 7:00 pmTuesday: 3:00 pm 7:00 pmAbout the RoleThe role involves picking up the youngest child from school, supporting after-school routines, and helping the children wind down before the parent returns home at 7pm. The older child travels home independently via public transport. Driving is preferred, however the role could also suit someone comfortable accompanying the youngest child on public transport.ResponsibilitiesSchool pick-up for the youngest childSupporting after-school routines (showering, school prep for the next day)Encouraging the children to tidy their roomsSpending relaxed time together (park visits, games, or limited screen time)Preparing dinner for the children (a bonus and paid at a higher rate if included)Light household help such as laundry (optional, not essential)Requirements3+ years experience caring for children as a nanny or a child care related roleCurrent Working with Children''s checkCurrent First AidCalm, confident and approachable mannerDriver''s licence preferred (own car unless using public transport)Cooking skills are a bonusThis is a straightforward, after-school focused role with clear expectations and a predictable routine.
