We pay highly competitive salaries and have generous relocation subsidies available.Our school is looking to fill the Learning Support Coordinator K-12 for the 2026 school yearPosition DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated, energetic K-12 Learning Support Coordinator with the ability to work in a collaborative environment, who is highly organised and can lead our committed and caring learning support team. The successful candidate must have outstanding communication skills in order to effectively work with staff, students, parents and external agencies. They must have a knowledge of the National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), facilitating Special Provisions for Naplan and the HSC, diagnosed disabilities, inclusive education, and Multilit programs. The successful applicant must be able to work with staff to implement programs and support for students with diverse learning needs.Financial AllowanceThis position attracts a financial allowance depending on qualifications and experience.Leadership ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Principal to set positive atmosphere and culture for staff and studentsLead the daily operation of the school relevant to support staffOrganise and conduct staff meetings for the Learning Support teamLiaise with leadership in the timetabling and allocation of support staffSupport the spiritual development and mentoring of support staffWork collaboratively with staff, students and parents to monitor academic progress and attendance of students within the LS programDevelop and update Individualised Education PlansFoster effective relationships with parents and caregivers as partners in student learningManage incidents, parent complaints and other issues as directed by PrincipalOrganise and deliver staff devotions as requiredOversee the enrolment of new students with additional needs, including attending enrolment interviews and liaising with other educational institutionsAlways uphold the Christian ethos expected of senior leadership at Parkes Christian SchoolSelection CriteriaA committed Christian who is active in their local churchHigh level of administrative skillsExperience in implementation of learning support programsExperience with IEP''sAbility to effectively liaise between parents, students, teachers, external agencies and professional support servicesExperience in coordinating staffOrganised and meets deadlinesDemonstrates excellent communication skillsExperience in working with children with additional needs including ASDProven ability to work collaborativelyCommitted to Professional Learning to develop effective pedagogyWillingness to uphold the vision and ethos of Parkes Christian SchoolAppropriate teaching qualificationsCurrent NSW Working With Children''s CheckAsk about our competitive pay rates and generous relocation subsidies if applicable.For further information or to apply please email:[email protected] onlineat close 14 November 2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
