As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same. If you were here last week, these are some of the things you may have done:Working in the social model means you''ll work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centresUtilizing assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS fundingBuilding meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilising positive behaviour support frameworkConducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challengesAttend weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughsYou''ll tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy MentorWho we are looking forAt Everyday Independence, our team thrives on shared values and a collaborative spirit.
