This role involves maintaining marine assets, including vessels and pontoons, ensuring their efficient and reliable operation. You will work on a rotational roster at our pontoon based in Talbot Bay, with days off spent in Broome.Key responsibilities will include:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine vessels and assets to ensure their continuous and reliable operationUpkeep and maintenance of the daily system running including generators, desal, STP and outboard motor maintenanceInspect, troubleshoot and diagnose issues that may arise in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systemsPlay an active role in implementing preventative maintenance programs to maximise asset performance and minimise downtimeMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities through our digital asset management system (Helm), including logs, reports and documentation of all work performedEnsure compliance with marine safety regulations and company proceduresAssist with the refuelling of vessels and aircraft at the pontoonAssist with the launching and docking of seaplanes at the pontoonAbout YouAs the ideal candidate you have an eye for detail and take pride in your work. You are both a collaborative team member and capable of working independently, using your initiative and problem-solving abilities.
