You''ll play a key role in helping clients remain independent in their own homes, supporting their dignity, safety and quality of life. Shifts are available Monday to Friday between 6am and 6pm, and you''ll have a regular parttime roster with opportunities to pick up more hours based on client needs. We particularly encourage applications from Bilingual (Italian) candidates to better support the communication needs of some clients.What You''ll Be DoingProviding personal care support such as showering, grooming and personal hygieneSupporting with meal preparation, household cleaning, laundry and ironingAssisting with shopping, medical appointments and social outingsMonitoring and reporting any changes in a client''s health or behaviour, escalating concerns to ensure safetyDelivering care in line with individual Care Plans and maintaining accurate documentationTravelling between client homes within your local service area (Manly, Mosman, Cremorne and Lane Cove)What You''ll BringCurrent driver''s licence and reliable car with comprehensive insuranceCertificate III, IV or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability or related fieldCurrent First Aid CertificateClear verbal communication skills to engage effectively with older clientsExcellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with people from diverse backgroundsReliability, punctuality and a commitment to delivering highquality careFlexibility in hours and approach, with availability aligned to client needsAbility to review and accurately document care plansExperience using mobility aids and assisting with client hoisting (advantageous)Italian language skills are highly regardedOur BenefitsSalary Packaging Boost your takehome pay by packaging up to $15,900 of your pretax income for everyday expenses.Work/Life Balance Flexible parttime hours (8 hours per week minimum) with the option to pick up additional shifts.Recognition & Reward Competitive sector rates, paid travel time between clients, access to recognition programmes and long service leave after 5 years.Supportive Onboarding Our ''buddyup'' program ensures you feel confident, supported and set up for success from day one.Wellbeing Fitness Passport, Employee Assistance Programme and the option to purchase additional leave.Inclusivity and Cultural SafetyIf you identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, then we want to hear from you.
