Located in the spectacular Kununurra region of Australia''s Northern Territory, this resort offers an incredible opportunity to work in one of Australia''s most unique and beautiful destinations.Position Highlights:Employment Type: CasualAvailable Positions: 3 positions across Food & Beverage and HousekeepingStart Date: May 1st, 2026Recruitment Period: Applications opening April 2026Accommodation: Available on-site at approximately $125 per weekCompetitive Pay Rates: Up to $62.45 per hour on public holidaysThis is an excellent opportunity to experience working in Australia''s stunning Top End region while developing your hospitality career in a professional resort environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFood and Beverage Attendants:Provide exceptional customer service to resort guestsTake orders and serve food and beverages in restaurant and bar areasMaintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areasAssist with event setups and functions as requiredProcess payments and handle cash transactions accuratelyWork collaboratively with kitchen and service staffEnsure compliance with food safety and hygiene standardsSupport special events and busy service periodsClean and service guest rooms to resort standardsChange linen, make beds, and replenish amenitiesClean bathrooms, dust, and vacuum all areasInspect rooms for maintenance issues and report as neededMaintain housekeeping storage areas and equipmentFollow chemical safety and cleaning protocolsRespond to guest requests promptly and professionallyBoth roles require flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences in a resort environment.RequirementsValid Working Holiday Visa with a minimum of 6 months remaining from start dateEnglish Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced level (able to communicate effectively with guests and team members)Right to Work: Must have unrestricted work rights in AustraliaAvailability: Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and public holidaysPhysical Fitness: Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 15kg, and perform physical tasksTeam Player: Positive attitude and ability to work collaborativelyDesired Qualities:Previous experience in hospitality (Food & Beverage or Housekeeping) is advantageousExcellent attention to detail and time managementReliable, punctual, and professional appearanceWillingness to learn and adaptEnthusiasm for working in a remote resort locationVisa Requirements: Candidates must hold a valid Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417 or 462) with at least 6 months validity remaining from the expected start date of May 1st, 2026.DetailInformationEmployment Basis CasualExpected Start Date May 1st, 2026Hiring Period Applications opening April 2026Award HIGA GSA Level 2Pay Rates (Hourly)DayRateMonday to Friday $31.23Saturday $37.47Sunday $43.72Public Holidays $62.45Work Hours: Casual basis with variable hours depending on resort occupancy and operational needs.
