In this role you will be responsible for managing mechanical breakdowns and routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure production targets are met.Key accountabilities include:Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure maintenance goals are met.Undertaking all work in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and Allied Pinnacle Safety Policies.Managing preventative and routine maintenance tasks as per the schedule.Performing mechanical breakdown maintenance tasks as required.Notifying the Maintenance Supervisor when parts and consumables require replacement.Taking a proactive approach to plant improvement, Quality, HACCP, Environmental and Safety process improvements.Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards with regards to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and general housekeeping; andCommunicating with Production Supervisors to ensure all work is completed with a minimum of disruption to production schedules.The successful applicant will possess:Mechanical or Maintenance Trade Qualifications.Experience in a maintenance role, ideally within food or FMCG manufacturing.Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement processes.A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work autonomously.Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.What is in it for you:Our culture is warm, friendly, and inclusive, and we encourage each other to bring our authentic selves to work.Work/Life balance.Access to EAP.Living our Values:Act as One, Better Every day, Own It, Think Differently, and Enjoy the Ride.If you are motivated and results driven professional with the required skills and experience, then this is an exciting opportunity for you be part of Allied Pinnacle. #J-18808-Ljbffr
