Our College is a leading Christian PreK-12 College in the Newcastle region that has experienced growth in recent years with over 900 students.PositionWe invite applications from suitably qualified Primary Performing and/or Visual Arts Teacher to commence in Term 01, 2026 to serve as a full-time teacher. While we prefer full-time profiles, we are open to receive part-time teacher profiles as well.ResponsibilitiesBe a committed Christian who is actively involved in their local churchBe able to provide a quality Christian performing arts education to students in Primary School with a commitment to educational excellenceContribute to the cultural life of the College community, particularly in Dance and Drama activitiesHold a 4-year bachelor''s degree in education (or equivalent), with a knowledge of current and proposed Creative Arts syllabusExpect to be part of a God honouring collaborative staff teamApplicants should have the following skills and attributesTraining and/or experience in Dance and/or Drama. Experience in organising and facilitating performance opportunities for studentsActively contribute to planning, programming and assessment of Creative Arts KLAs, especially Dance and DramaExcellent communication skills to facilitate learning for large groups of Primary studentsDemonstrated ability to collaborate with the Creative and Performing Arts faculty in curriculum and innovative classroom practiceExperience directing primary school musicals along with an ability to cultivate creativity and a love for dance and drama in primary age studentsThis is an exciting and challenging position for someone who is passionate about Christian education, adopts a relational approach to their teaching, with demonstrated experience and a willingness to work collaboratively with other teachers, students and parentsClosing dateThe closing date for applications is 07 November 2025.How to applyPlease apply by completing the application form on our website. #J-18808-Ljbffr
