Storeperson (Afternoon Shift)Plant/Site: JBS Beef City PlantDate Posted: 14 Jan 2026About the RoleJBS Beef City is seeking a reliable and experienced Storeperson to join our afternoon / night shift team, supporting both the Plastic Stores and Maintenance Stores operations.This is a handson, physical role suited to someone with strong warehousing experience who takes pride in organisation, accuracy, and safety. You will play a key role in ensuring stock availability, correct storage, and efficient distribution to support site operations.Your daily responsibilities will include:Forklift operations including loading, unloading and internal movementsReceipting, picking and issuing stockStock rotation and inventory controlConducting regular stocktakes and cycle countsInterpreting parts and maintenance requirementsMaintaining clean, organised and safe store areasSupporting maintenance and production teams with timely supply of materialsAdhering to site safety, food safety and quality standardsAbout YouProven experience in warehousing or similar stores rolesExperience with stocktake, stock rotation and inventory controlAbility to interpret parts and maintenance stock highly regardedPhysically fit and capable of manual handling tasksStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsReliable, punctual and available to work night shiftExperienced with software such as SAP (or similar stock catalogue program) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Current license and access to reliable transportAbout UsJBS Australia is the largest and most respected meat and food producer in Australia.
