This role reports to the Facility Manager Recreation. This role is responsible for day-to-day administration of council''s recreation, sports and arts related programs and services. This involves actively maintaining the retention of sports teams, the administration and oversight of sports officials, recreation programs, promotion and marketing and assisting with the review and implementation of policies, plans and strategies related to sport and recreation management.Leading a small team of Recreation Support Officers to ensure the smooth delivery of sports programs and associated servicesLead generating sporting fixtures and recreation programs and taking bookings for recreation and arts programs and eventsLead the resolution of sports related customer enquiries, complaints and requestsAssist with the day-to-day office administration and operations of the centre including customer service, programs and sports developmentThe Team Leader Sport and Recreation will play a key role in facilitating, maintaining and further enhancing these areas, ensuring alignment with Councils management operating framework.
