You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our extrusion lines and production areas, achieving quality outputs that meet all standards and customer expectations.What will you do?Work an 8hour rotating shiftbased roster (day/afternoon/night): 6 am2 pm, 2 pm10 pm, 10 pm6 am.Lead and develop the health and safety culture for the team.Provide leadership and supervision for the team on shift.Engage and motivate the team to solve issues collaboratively.Support operators and play a key role in their learning, development, competency and experience in daily operations, continuous improvement, safety and quality practices, and effective teamwork.About you35 years of demonstrated leadership experience and proven shift management of small/mediumsized teams in plastics/FMCG or continuous batch manufacturing; heavy industrial operations preferred.Mechanical aptitude and a handson approach to leading and mentoring a team.Strong ability to set and align balanced operational priorities with an emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, throughput, proactive reporting and a continuous improvement mindset.Proficiency in computer systems, specifically MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP (advantageous).Effective communication skills across a diverse workforce.Excellent time management, sense of urgency, problemsolving skills and results focus to meet daily production KPIs and targets.Collaborative style and crossfunctional engagement.Cando attitude, flexibility, adaptability and a willingness to help us grow our manufacturing capability.Valid forklift licence.Australian citizen or permanent resident with own transport and driver''s licence.Why join us?Bonus program, paid overtime opportunities, uniform, PPE and secure onsite parking.Environmentconscious business culture.Industryleading paid parental leave: 26 weeks paid for primary carer and 4 weeks for secondary carer.Employee Assistance Program for you and your immediate family.Employee Recognition Programs and Service Awards.Opportunity to join mentoring programs.Diversity, equity and inclusion priorities and a DEI council.Career development opportunities locally and globally.Safe work environment with a strong focus on "Go for Zero".Additional informationFor more information please contact Carla Treuer on 0497 323 252.
