As a Cook at Bombay Kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes to the highest standard. You will work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to our recipes and standardsEnsure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and consistent mannerMonitor and maintain food quality and presentationAssist with the development of new menu itemsMaintain a clean and organized kitchen at all timesFollow all food safety and hygiene standardsTrain and supervise junior kitchen staffOrder and maintain inventory of kitchen suppliesAdhere to all company policies and proceduresQualifications and ExperienceProven at least 1 year ofexperience as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environmentCertificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalentStrong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniquesAbility to work well under pressure and in a team environmentExcellent time management and organizational skillsAttention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishesKnowledge of food safety and hygiene standardsAvailability to work weekends and eveningsSalary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $68,000 to $74,000 plus superannuation.
