Relocation available for the right candidate(s). As a vital member of our maintenance crew you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of fleet to repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues with precision.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct mechanical assessments for diagnosis and fault finding, ensuring efficient repair, maintenance and servicing to keep our fleet on the road.Service the entire fleetincluding trucks, trailers, dollies and motor vehiclesin adherence to our Maintenance and Workshop procedures.Identify issues, recommend solutions and perform replacement of brakes, suspension components, steering systems and major engine components.Conduct body building tasks, including welding and grinding of chassis or comb rails on flattop trailers.Handle auto electrical work on all 12V or 24V systems.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.Order and replace worn or damaged parts, ensuring adherence to Quality Standards and Manufacturer Specifications.Skills and ExperienceIdeally 23 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic working on fleet vehicles or trailers.Australian recognised Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification.Unlimited Australian work rights (no restrictions).Passionate about all things mechanical with an ability to think critically and creatively to diagnose complex mechanical problems efficiently.A meticulous approach ensuring every aspect of the machinery is thoroughly assessed.Why Join Centurion?Relocation available for the right candidate(s).Competitive pay rates and benefits package, including overtime opportunities.Worklife balance: MondayFriday shifts.Wellmaintained machinery in a safetyfirst environment.Opportunities for training, career advancement and professional development.Supportive and collaborative team environment.Be part of a company that values safety, integrity and excellence.Company OverviewCenturion is a premier logistics company with a longstanding reputation for excellence in transportation services across Australia.
