OverviewWe are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Bitumen Sprayer Driver to join our team in Austins Ferry, Hobart.As a Bitumen Sprayer Driver, you will be responsible for operating a specialised truck to apply bitumen to various surfaces for road projects. Your tasks will include preparing the truck and equipment for daily operations, ensuring proper application of bitumen, and maintaining high safety standards throughout your work. You will play a crucial role in delivering quality surface treatments, contributing to the safety and longevity of the roads and infrastructure in Tasmania.ResponsibilitiesOperate a bitumen sprayer truck to apply bitumen to road surfaces in accordance with project specifications.Prepare and service the truck and equipment for daily operations, including pre-start checks and routine maintenance.Ensure accurate application rates and consistent finish while adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.Maintain high safety standards and contribute to a Zero Harm culture.Collaborate with team members to deliver timely, quality surface treatments for road projects.Qualifications & ExperienceCurrent Construction Induction card.Experience as a Bitumen Sprayer Truck Driver or in Bitumen Haulage.Proven ability in the operation of mobile plant machinery and equipment.A team player with proven ability to work efficiently with others.A strong commitment to a Zero Harm culture.The ability to work intrastate for periods of time as required.We OfferProud to be recognised as a WORK180 Endorsed Employer for All Women.
