Our client, a long-established family-owned business with over 50 years'' experience in bulk earthworks and industrial site development, is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join their Ipswich-based team.In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of heavy machinery, including Dozers, Graders, Excavators, and Moxy Trucks. This is a handson role within a small team where safety, efficiency, and flexibility are essential.This position is permanent, based locally in Ipswich, and offers a company vehicle as well as opportunities for overtime on top of your salary. You will need to work safely, efficiently, and flexibly, handling a wide range of mechanical issues daytoday.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on heavy machineryWork on equipment including Dozers, Graders, Excavators, and Moxy TrucksUse machining tools such as lathes and milling machines for repairsCollaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient operationsRequirements:Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and mechanical componentsExperience with CAT mobile plant equipment (D6, D7, D8, 730, 740, 615, Associated 623)Own tools required; HR Truck licence is desirableProficient with machining tools (lathes, milling machines)Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a teamContactable references from past supervisorsWhat We Offer:Fulltime permanent position with competitive hourly rate (negotiable based on experience)Company vehicle and opportunity for overtimeChance to work with a respected, familyowned business in the Ipswich areaPlease submit your application or call Warren or Russell during business hours on 3812 2920 for more information.We look forward to hearing from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
