In this handson role, you will operate machinery, handle eggs and packaging materials, and maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency in the Breaking Room area.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and reject noncompliant eggs by checking for damage, cracks, leaks, moisture, offodours or visible contamination, and remove them from the production line in line with quality standards.Collect broken eggs promptly from equipment and work areas, ensuring they are disposed of correctly in designated waste containers to maintain hygiene, biosecurity and food safety standards.Unwrap pallets, collect pallet tags, and sort packaging waste.Load egg stacks into the separator and gulper machines.Operate loader and gulper machines after training.Maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene protocols at all times.Follow safe lifting techniques and all WH&S guidelines and adhere to QA procedures.Support team members and follow instructions from the Team Leader and Supervisors.Maintain the Food Safety Plan, HACCP, and appropriate accreditations to meet legal and company requirements, including the implementation and maintenance of procedures and work instructions to cover all aspects of production.Communicate regularly with machine operators, coworkers, management and quality assurance personnel regarding any deviations in egg quality to ensure standards are upheld and a quality product is manufactured.Keep accurate records of egg grading.QualificationsMinimum of 12 months directly related experience.Full unrestricted Australian working rights.Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.No egg allergies and comfort working in environments with strong smells.Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.Strong teamwork, communication and listening skills.A proactive and positive attitude.A commitment to workplace safety and hygiene.BenefitsA collaborative and inclusive work environment.Ongoing learning and development opportunities.Monthly officewide birthday celebrations.Regular free products plus discounts on groceries, fuel, fashion, dining and more.Minimum annual earnings of $69,000, made up of base hourly rates, penalty rates and overtime (if applicable).To find out more about us, visitInterested?
